Myself and many other authors will be creating original stories to fit the theme and publishing them by the end of the event. I had an amazing time participating in Monster Manor’s Book Fair last month. Thank you to all the readers who picked up my books and the itch.io bundle!
Swim With Me, Darling, the story I’m cooking up for the jam is a sapphic horror romance inspired by movies like Jennifer’s Body and Dagon, books like Into the Drowning Deep, folk horror, cryptids, and feminine rage. It’s teetering between short story and novella length, at the moment. I suspect it will end up being a novella so I can really sink my teeth into these characters. But, we’ll see where inspiration takes me.
